The African Violet, Saintpaulia ionantha, is one of those plants that I’ve been around here and there growing up. I use to think that it was a funny looking plant with its big fuzzy under-leaves and its bouquet of blooms.
This plant is Feminine in Nature and is connected with the Planet Venus and the Element of Water. If you are looking for plant protection walls then this is one of a many plants for you. The African Violet is a symbol for spirituality and protection. When grown within the home this little plant exponentially increases and promotes spirituality will all those who live in your dwellings.
If you are growing your own African Violets make sure not to get water on its leaves when you are watering your plant, the plant doesn’t like it. However misting is highly accepted by this plant.
Make sure that your African Violet gets a bright window out of direct sun. Water when the surface soil begins to dry to the touch. As with most all plants use water at room temperature.
